Domestic Short Hair : : Male (neutered) Won't you think about adopting me?
From Alfred’s foster: It’s a known fact that I am currently fostering your dream cat. This resident Casanova will steal your heart and your girl. A denizen of the early morning, Alfred’s personality shines when he’s at play. It’s his time to find more permanent employment. He tells me that the pay here isn’t up to par and he’d like to resign from “foster” and apply for “adopted”. Below is his resume. Alfred is a gentle cat, so he’ll be great with nervous cats, kids, and anyone needing a lap warmer while they watch reruns of ER. Alfred may need decompression time when he changes scenery. His ideal home is one with some patience while he gains confidence and feels safe. As a cat who spent time outside, he will seek safety first, and then come out. This behavior is common, and I hope you have the heart to let him prove he’s your best friend as he has with me. He will hog that warm lap, cuddle aggressively, and spend the night close to you. As his foster, Alfred is such a loving dude. When I pet him, he wants to be in constant contact – head, neck, back – to extract the most attention he can get. He especially loves neck scritches under his chin. He has an injury to his front paw (and to his tail) and uses it but doesn’t rely on it. For example, he will lean on it to play for short bursts, but does not put pressure on it. He can jump up onto a 4’ bed without trouble. He is still fully mobile and active (soooooooo active, especially when I’m trying to sleep at 3 in the morning and I’ll wonder what life choices led me to being awake at 3 AM on a Tuesday). He loves his wet cat food and those fun feather toys that you dangle in the air. He loves catnip and sitting in the window. He loves water (which, iykyk, that male cats aren’t always great at drinking water). His estimated age is approximately one year. While it’s impossible to know his full story, he was trapped in Middle Bucks. He quickly acclimated to my home and now serves as the friendly butler to any new foster that comes in. I hope you’ll bring him to his forever home and give him the promotion he so richly deserves. https://www.hart2heartanimalrescue.com/forms/form?formid=6527 More about AlfredGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids, Good with Adults, Likes to play with toys, Playful, Affectionate Other Pictures of Alfred (click to see larger version):
